Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program

The Town of Canton offers a Housing Rehabilitation Program to qualified residents. The funds for this program are provided from Community Development Block Grant Funds administered by the State Department of Economic & Community Development.

Residents qualify if they are income-eligible and if they have sufficient equity in their home to guarantee the loan. Income eligible residents are low and moderate income homeowners who meet current year federal Housing and Urban Development thresholds. Below are the current income limits under the program:

Applications for the Program

Residents who believe they may qualify for the loan program for the rehabilitation of their homes are encouraged to apply to the program by filling out the application form and submitting the required documentation.
