Beyond Downtown List
Built shortly after World War I, the ten houses on this street, consecutively numbered 161 to 170 regardless of odd or even, were built by the Collins Company for its executives, including the company’s vice president and general manager. Originally each home had an open front porch. Some have had a handrail added, while others are now enclosed. There was also a tennis court on the north side of the street just below the ten single car garages.
