Dear Canton Residents,

The Board of Selectmen will meet tonight, February 24th, to review and possibly approve the 2016-2017 proposed Town Budget (which can be viewed here). If you wish to learn more about the budget or share your thoughts during the “Public Participation” portion of the meeting, please plan to attend either:

6pm – Special Meeting (Room F at the Community Center)
Or
7pm – Regular Meeting (Room F at the Community Center)

If the BOS budget is approved at tonight’s meeting, here’s what will happen next:
• March 15th - The BOS will present its budget to the Board of Finance
• March 24th - The Board of Finance will hold a public hearing on the budget (NOTE date change)
• May 2nd - The budget will be presented at the Annual Budget Meeting (NOTE date change)
