Assistant River Steward (Summer 2021)
The
Farmington River Coordinating Committee (FRCC) is seeking to fill several Assistant
River Steward positions to help protect
the beautiful Wild and Scenic Upper Farmington River. This is a terrific
opportunity to be outdoors, make a difference in the community, and for college
students to gain experience in their environmental field of study while getting
paid. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who can instill an
appreciation for the river in others, help reduce litter, work on various river
related projects, be a source of information to river users, and create safe
and enjoyable experiences on the water.
