Invasive Plant History & Identification

The Farmington River Coordinating Committee (FRCC) and Barkhamsted Historical Society are holding an event Friday August 2, 9 AM-12 PM at Squire's Tavern. The day will consist of a walk-and-talk about invasive plant identification and the history of plant introductions in this country, followed by a two-hour workday removing invasive species at Squire's Tavern. The event is free and people are welcome to attend one or both parts of the day. Bring loppers and gloves for the workday.
