Canton Springs Road will be CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC between Dartmouth Drive and Dowd Avenue on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19 from 5 pm to 9 pm for the 37th Annual Canton Volunteer Fire Company Lobster Fest.

August 20
Dowd Avenue and Maple Avenue will be CLOSED to traffic on Sunday, August 20 from 7:30 am to 10:30 am for the Canton Middle School 26th Annual Lobster Loop Road Race & Walk. 26th Annual Lobster Loop 5K Road Race & Health Walk

The 26th annual Lobster Loop 5k road race and non-competitive health walk will be held on the Canton Town Green, at the corner of Route 44 and Dowd Avenue on Sunday, August 20, 2017 . This community-wide event is hosted by the Canton Middle School PTO and all fundraising proceeds will benefit the organization to be used in support of our mission for the educational, social and emotional growth of our students. As the state continues to cut budgets and educational funding, the Canton Middle School PTO fills funding gaps that are not available through any other source. Improve your health, enjoy the company of friends and neighbors, all while helping students get a richer learning experience. Registration will open at 7:30 a.m.; the race will start at 8:30 a.m. sharp.
