9/9/2016 - FREE smoke alarms and installation - Sept 9

In conjunction with FEMA’s National Emergency Preparedness Month, The Town of Canton’s Emergency Services Organizations which include Fire/EMS, Police and CERT are teaming up with the American Red Cross to protect your family against home fires.

On Friday, September 9, 2016, a Red Cross Volunteer and a Canton Emergency Services member will visit your home to install a FREE smoke alarm.

During your home visit, you will receive:

• Installation of smoke alarms if needed
• Guidance in the development of a Family Disaster Plan
• Valuable emergency preparedness tips and information

All demonstration and installation services will be performed by Red Cross trained volunteers and /or licensed/insured professionals. Visits generally last about 20 minutes.
