Town Hall now consists of two distinct buildings. The original Town Hall on Market Street was built for $22,000 around 1904 in a neo-gothic style with pointed arch windows. The Doric columned porch with its classical style is in contrast to the rest of the building. The large building on Main Street originally contained stores and had offices above. It is a typical commercial structure of the late nineteenth century with stone embellishments, cast iron columns, and heavy granite sills. The Main Street portion replaced Gothic Hall after it burned in 1887. Gothic Hall included a billiard parlor and meeting space for the Masons and Odd Fellows.
