Current Employment Openings
The Town of Canton is seeking candidates for the position of Tax Collector. This position is responsible for the collection of taxes and other related fees. The position is full time with a salary range of $60,000 to $66,000. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or a closely related field, with three years of tax office experience including one year of supervisory experience or an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business and five years of tax office experience along with one year of supervisory experience. Must possess a Connecticut Municipal Collector Certification or be able to attain such certification within three years of appointment.
