UPDATE 3/13/20:
After consultation with the Farmington Valley Health District and other Farmington Valley Senior Centers, the Town of Canton will be cancelling all Senior Center activities except, senior lunches, dial-a-ride, medical transportation and tax assistance. The Canton Café Senior Lunch scheduled for Friday, March 13th will be held. These steps are deemed necessary in an abundance of caution to protect our valued senior population from the coronavirus (COVID 19).  Medical transportation will be only for wellness visits. Anyone exhibiting symptoms of an illness will not be permitted to utilize transportation services.  This will take effect immediately. These measures may be modified as circumstances change.

As recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) all residents should take these everyday preventive actions, including:
*Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer of at least 60% alcohol.
*Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
*Avoid close contact with people who are sick
*Stay home if you are sick, except to seek medical care
